The Cambridge University Brazilian Society

The aim of the Cambridge University Brazilian Society (CUBS) is to unite Brazilians and friends of this beautiful and diverse country, and promote Brazilian culture at the University of Cambridge.

Our main goal is to provide academic and cultural exchange between Cambridge and Brazil, through academic and social events. We also help Brazilians that just arrived in the UK as well as those which are intending to apply to study in Cambridge. One of our achievements so far is having established contact with the Brazilian community in Cambridge and London, raising awareness of this vibrant network in the U.K.

As 2011 marks our inaugural year, we would like to gather support and enthusiasm from all Brazilians and those who love our country in Cambridge and surroundings and organise many social, academic, sports and cultural activities throughout the academic year.
So, join our network! You will meet Brazilians, speak Portuguese, listen to good Brazilian music, try some nice Brazilian food, play capoeira, football, dance samba and much more!!
CUBS is open to anyone, member or non-member of the University.
